I just replaced my u-joints on the driveshaft and it still made a BANG noise when I let off the clutch normally. It is fine if I take up the slack in the drivetrain slooooowwwwwwlllly letting off the clutch. I thought it was the U-joints in the axles but when I got under my z today the U-joints were fine, I had the car in neutral I could rotate the driveshaft about 1/8th of an inch. I also noticed the differential juice was leaking onto my exhaust and was wet. I think my main diff seal has died and is leaking badly. my question is Since it is abvious that something major has to be done and I would like to upgrade my car can I put a later model limited slip diff in my 260, could it be done without too much fabrication needed? If I were to upgrade what would be needed to upgrade?

I got back under my car and I think that is the problem. I am getting the part # from msa by email and what I need now is to figure out what to do with the diff strap because mine is very stretched.
