I am new (Thank you for the add) . I've downloaded FSM and hope this has not been addressed. I am the 5th owner (all Family) of a 1980 280ZX. I've had it in garage and on blocks for 15 years. I have a Friend helping me bring her back to life.

Many parts have already been installed but, it appears that power is not reaching the new fuel pump. Does anyone know where the ground points are in my car that would affect the Fuel pump?

Or, is there one area in FSM that will list all the ground points? Pictures, diagrams or schematics would be VERY welcomed. I am trying to "be involved" and my task for the day is to locate them

 

Based on some input and review of Tech Service Manual, we bought and replaced the ignition switch. This DID create power for the Fuel Pump. We did not (yet) have to replace the switch relays. Just an FYI for others that might run into this.
