280Z Compression

I have an N42 block and an N42 head. I have 1982 280ZX non-turbo flat top pistons and a stock replacement Felpro head gasket. The block and head were never touched before the rebuild. only a couple of thousandth's were removed off of each during the surfacing process. The crank is the stock 280Z stroke and I am using stock rods. Any idea what the compression will be? I was trying to stay around 9.5:1, did I mess up? I am rinning the MSA Stage 2 cam with 274* / .480"
and don't want it to ping. I run premium unleaded, 91 octane here in Oregon.
Please advise,
Mundy

I think that combo puts you in the area of 9.8 to 10:1 compression. Weither or not you'll ping, I don't know. I think you should be fine with 91 octane.
