Widest tire for a 15x6?
Ive heard 205 to be the largest. Correct?

No you can go as big as a 225/60 on a 6" rim, check the specs over at Tirerack.com.

I have p215/60r14 on 14X7 wheels how wide can I have tires on my rims. I just replaced mine so it will be a while untill I can afford my Pirellis

i run 225/50/15 on my 15x7 rims. I can put 235 rubber on it and be within clearance reason. I am however, running coilovers. WIthout CO setup and with proper offset rims, widest you can go is 225
