Performance Brake Pads

I'm looking for some good brake pads for my Z, that will be good for spirited driving on the street, as well as day to day driving. In my opinion, one of the best upgrades for a vehicle is brakes, and I just want some really good ones. I was looking and the Hawk Ferro-Carbon brake shoes, and msa sells them for $57.80, where as tirerack.com sells the same ones (I believe) for $52.00. MSA is usually a rip off because of their higher prices. Any other suggestions for good pads?

Not sure what you mean. It looks like they are $70-80 a pair for the front. Am I missing something?
