I was wondering if the floor pans and frame rails in a 280z are the same as the ones in a 280z 2+2. I need to buy some new ones, and some of the places online that i have looked do not specify if between the two models, and i was wondering if i buy a kit whether one for a 280z would work on my 2+2.

Also, where have you guys bought yours. An online place would be easiest, and i plan on installing them myself, so just the cheapest kit would be nice.

what i would do is find the guy who youre gonna have do the work and ask him if he could extend them if they are too short.. it shouldnt be too difficult, as many of us have been known to fabricate these parts ourselves and we arent even pros..

 

Go back to that site and ask Charlie Osborne (he's the owner and maker of the part). He's a wonderful guy and will be able to answer all your questions. If they are not a direct fit I'll bet he could make the necessary adjustments so that they would fit...since he's the one who makes these to begin with.
