260z struts and springs

HELP!!! I am trying to find the difference between the early and late 1974 260z struts and springs, I need to know what the difference is and if the parts are interchangable as complete units... My car has the thin or narrow bumpers, so I think it is considered an "early" 1974 z car????? Can anyone help me? I see two different sets of Tokico struts and springs listed (HPK251, 70-74 260z & HPK253, 74-78 260z, even though I thought the 260z was only built in 1974???), I would like to know if one of these units won't fit my car before I order the complete set.... THANKS, budmann
