I was wondering if i needed a window glass roller for my windows? Or another question would be, did the 1973 240z's come with window rollers? I'm restoring my '73 Datsun and changing out the windows, so I was wondering if I needed them. The previous owner smashed the window when he slammed the door shut, so yeah.

Do I need/should I need to put them on? And if so, where on the door? Thanks.

There are 2 for each door. They mount on the inner door skin to keep the window from rattling when it is part way down and aligns the glass to the frame.
