Wheel Adapters/ Offset issue

I Bought some Mag wheels off another Z driver, attepted to put them on my stock 240Z and they didn't fit. The bolt pattern is fine 4x114.3, but the offset is slightly too much, that is, I could see the tips of my wheel studs in the wholes (a bit past flush with the rim) but there was not enough length on them to get a bite with my lug nuts. I looked into adapters a little bit but don't know what can fix the problem. I need to extend the studs about 1/2 inch or so. Also the rims stud wholes have a good deal of space when the stud fits in them, is there a stud adapters that can just srew on to the old stud like a sheath sround it and then stick out a little more? What is the best and least expensive way to fix this issue...???????????

are they factory Datsun wheels?

Maybe they are mag wheels and you're trying to use acorn lug nuts meant for steel wheels.

Can you post a few good pics of the wheels. Maybe one with them on your car?
I don't think this issue is offset related. The wheel mounting surface should fit the studs no matter what offset it is.

any tire/wheel place should have longer studs that you can put on your hubs if needed.
