Anyone in Vegas Feel Like Helping with a Motor Install?
Hi,
I'm in Vegas and have a 79 that is very slowly coming along. I'm ready to put the motor back in but would be much more comfortable if someone is more familiar with the process and this car. It's a 79 280zx. The motor has been out for a while, I refreshed the seals, replaced the timing belt and now it's time to go together.
If anyone is interested, my garage is downtown on 10th and Fremont. I usually wrench during the week evenings or can do weekends too.
Pictures are attached. Unfortunately I don't seem to have a picture of the motor. It's together other than the headers and intake manifold.
Thanks
Chad

Those blocks don't seem safe... hopefully they are at least nailed together.
Unfortunately forum traffic has slowed lately... fortunately there is a huge "280ZX Drivers" group on Facebook. Might want to post there for some help. I know several guys are in Vegas.

Thanks for the comment. I forgot to subscribe to my own thread and just now saw this. I might check the Facebook group. I might also wait until I get stuck trying to get this thing going again.
As for the blocks, they are screwed together and should be plenty safe. WOW.. the thought of not having them screwed together is a little scary.
