82 280zxt cuts out at mid to high rpm

I'm new to the site and want to ask some questions don't know if this is the right spot to do so ...but my 82 280zxt cuts out at mid to high rpm I put maf and chts witch helped alot but I think the coil wiring has something to do with it I lost spark untill I touched those wires ..so pretty obvious that would cause to cut out but have fixed that ...still cuts out more often than not ..possible coil breaking down under load?!?

I know this is a very old thread, But I have the same car, mine starts to cut out at about 5800 rpm, I just noticed my factory Boost gauge
is just hitting the red, when I start losing power, thinking it could be the bypass inside the turbo, either opening as it should or opening
to soon. Have done everything as you did, but I did replace the coil with one within specs, not easy to find, didnt do anything. I believe my
turbo is original, so probably worn out. But still pulls pretty good. Troubleshooting these turbo cars is a nightmare. Having a computer that
you cant get information out of is not good.

Im sure you either got it all working, or sold it by now.
