For newbies that don't know how a turbo works and their specific implementation on the L6.

I'm trying to get all the most common questions/answers setup as sticky's.

Now that's an interesting idea... hmmm...

If nothing else, you can reply to their question with the link to the particular sticky that answers their questions.

They have a setup at work like that.. You cant log in to the system unless you read the "NEW FYI" Check a box and sign an electronic signature.. This way you have no excuse when you lie to people

turob, turob, lol.

Yea I felt like I would add something stupid. Anyway when I read the title of this I was expecting something along the lines of, these turbo's are really good. Or these turbos suck. Something about the life and durability of the 280ZX Turbos.

That mostly depends on who's driving the car...

Maybe some howto or whatthe pages/links would help those wanting explaination on terms, concepts or equipment.

I would be interest in helping compile info if i can actually help.

Here's a page with a million compressor maps of turbos. If you're searching on what turbo might be a good match, you can use the maps to help you decide on a turbo that will maximize your intended purposes i.e drag, circuit, autocross, etc.

WOW That has to be the biggest collection of compressor maps I've ever seen. Good find on that one.

I beg to differ.

What's the number to 911? Is indeed a stupid question.
As is: Why isn't my Civic as fast as a SR-71?

The list goes on and on.

Besides, when he said Dummies, I think he was using it in relation to the "For Dummies" books. Like "Windows for Dummies" or "How to use an Internet Forum for Dummies"

After reading that turbo info page again, I have a question: I know the Z31's T3 will fit on an L28ET, but are the specs still the same? ("60 comp trim and .63 turbine trim" for the 280ZX's T3)
