After we found your stray ignition wire for you, you should be able to get 35 or 40 mpg now!

What do you need a tow for? Your ride will make it. Especially with those nice new gauges!

Better yet, I'll drive it!

Seriously, if you'll spring for half the gas, I'll tow it.

Some of us (starting in the Sac area) will be meeting at the Flag City truck stop at I-5 and Highway 12 early and departing at 7:00 A.M. which should put us at the Westly Rest Area on I-5 at about 8:00 - 8:15 to pick up the East Bay, Concord and Walnut creek people. From there it's to Anderson's Pea Soup in Santa Nella at about 9:15 to pick up the South Bay people. From there we have a "straight shot" with a few stops for restrooms and fuel.

If you have a radio, we'll be on channel 13.

I'll be leaving at/before 7am from San Leandro, to arrive to meet up with the ZONC caravan tour.

Quote:
A Caravan is planned for Friday 4/22 to leave the Flag City truck stop at
I-5 and highway 12 at 7:00 am. First stop will be at the Westley Rest Stop on
I-5 at 8:00 to 8:15 to pick up people from the East Bay, Pleasanton and Walnut Creek area. Second stop will be at Andersons Pea Soup at Santa Nella at 9:15 A.M. to pick up people from the South Bay Area.

>From Santa Nella the route will be down I-5 to the 210 east, and then
>the
57 south to the Katella turnoff in Anaheim. This route has been planned due to it being faster, not shorter, than going thru Los Angeles.

Stops south of Santa Nella are not scheduled at this time, but there will be some that are as needed for fuel, food, and restrooms (every 60-80 miles).

Radio channel will be 13
