wanted: piston connecting rod
 

hey all, I need to get a connecting rod for my number 1 piston, I spun the rod bearing and it seized the crank and rod. Texasz told me he'd sell me the crankshaft, so all I need is the rod now.

Do you still want/need the crank?

well, I'm kind of working on that situation. In order to get the crank, I need money to buy it, and I definitely don't have any to spare. Right now, I'm just trying to find out what I can do to be cost effective and such. If I can find a motor at pick n pull for around 100 bucks, I'm going to go with that, that way I have everything and not just the crank. I'll keep you updated though.

Eric over at ZParts.com is going to sell me a whole short block in running condition for $150, so I'm more than likely going to stick with him. Thanks for your offer anyways!
