Project car..Help?!
 

Alright, so I have two z's. A 1981 280zx and a 1977 280z 2+2. The problem is, the zx undercarriage is nearly rusted out completely...its a mess. And the z is okay, but there's rust on a lot of the parts that I can't find to replace (due to the fact its a 2+2, parts are evading me successfully). So, I'm looking for a body for either of the cars that is in good shape. I don't really care about the quarter panels, I can replace those. But I need one that has a good undercarriange and the unibody has to be in decent shape. I dont care if there's an engine in it, I have great ones in the cars I have. Please Please Please help!

There is a Z-car salvage yard in Mountain Home. YOu might let your fingers do the walking and see what he has. Otherwise you're going to have to come South to find a rust free body. I saw a couple good 2+2's at All Z CAr Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas a couple weeks ago. (817) 483-0383

Yes, Mountain Home, Idaho. I don't know if he's still in operation but he was advertising parts as recently as 18 months ago.

I have a parfect 81Zx you could use to replace your rusted one. And since you only live 20 miles away you should really come check it out. I am always open to haggle.

Alright, well that might be possible. I am down in Pocatello every monday through friday for school. Tell me a little bit more about the car? What kind of shape is it in? I know you said perfect, but give me a little bit more detail please. About what would I be looking at as far as price range? And yes, I really am interested in looking at it. Thanks a ton!

The car runs great. It does need to have the exaust fixed. It has cancer in the lower kick panal on the drivers side only. The interior needs work in the rear area. The tires and rims are in great shape and the battery is 1 month old. I also have a garage full of extra parts. You really need to come and see her to appreciate her. I ma asking $1500.00
