Need Interior Parts
Black Interior Parts Needed ASAP Ive got a 85 300ZX. Its got Gray Interior, but I'm replacing the carpet with Black, and have decided to just go ahead and replace everything and Convert It All to BLACK. So if anyone has a Parts Car thats got Black Interior with everying in good condition then i would like to get as much of it as possible. I'll need a black full dash with no cracks also, and the whole panel that goes from above the shifter to inbetween the seats including the arm rest.

Why don't you use that new Krylon paint that is made specifically for plastics. You don't need to use any primer. Here is what I did for my interior. I first removed EVERY interior piece carefully, taking care not to damage the pieces that hold everything together and not losing any screws. Then, one at a time I cleaned them VERY WELL with some simple green and good scrubbing. I then lightly sanded with 600 grit just to smooth the surface a little and then cleaned the surface again. I then primed the entire surface and sanded again, then cleaned again and painted black, a few coats should do it. Allow at least 24 hours to dry for the paint (despite what the can says) and allow at least 2 hours if you are going to prime it and use regular paint for the primer to dry. I then put a spray-on clearcoat to protect the surface. This worked very well. If you are going to use the krylon plastics spray skip the priming step, but still clean and use a clear coat.
