8-11K for a early 240Z
 

Hi all,

Since I recently killed my '72, I'm looking for another Z. Fortunately, I still have my '71 Z but, I would like something more original (the '71 is a compilation of three Z's.)

Here is what I'm looking for;

A 70, 72, or 71 Z (in that order). I'll consider a '71 but much prefer a 70 or 72. I'm looking for an all original or restored Z. No rust please, not even a little. By original or restored, I mean a #'s matching 240Z with the original 240Z engine and tranny. Not interested in cars with 260,280, or whatever engines in them. Suspension modifications o.k. 4 speed a must and orginal or after market A/C a serious plus.
Paint does not need to be show car quality but still needs to be very presentable and well done. Prefer original colors but will consider others if the paint was well done and includes the engine bay, door jambs, and hatch.
All mechanical components need to be in good condition with a healthy engine. No electrical gremlins please. Body needs to be straight and prefer an accident free car. Definetly no tweaked frames, salvage title, or theft recovery vehicles
Finally, I live in CA, so I would like the car to be in the state or at most a neighboring state.

I'm willing to spend up to 11K for an exact hit on what I've described. I'd like to keep it more around 8-9K but, ya' pay the price when ya' get picky I guess.
Please feel free to offer some constructive critism if you think I'm wanting too much for the price. I've been out of the Z market for about ten years (since I last bought one.) and have noticed prices have definetly gone up, but I think I'm in the ball park here.
