I'm new to the forum and looking to purchase my first z car. Basically what I'm looking for is a nice original 240, 260, or 280 pre 1979. I am not looking for a project, it must be a running, driving car. Don't have many requirements other than it must currently be driveable and have a manual trans.

This is probably a shot in the dark, but I have an unrestored 69 fastback mustang that I would consider trading for the right z car. The mustang is mostly original and 99 percent complete. Originally came with a 351 Windsor and an automatic trans. The original motor is gone, but the current motor runs and drives but will need a little work. The car spent its life in ca and nv, so it is rust free other than one cancer spot in the passenger side door, and a little surface rust here and there. Manual drum brakes, power steering, standard interior, fold down rear seat. The car will need a full restoration. I put its value around 6k, so that's about what I'm looking to spend on a Z car. If someone is interested in a trade let me know or else I just plan on selling the mustang and using the money for a Z.

Car is currently located in Salt Lake.
