sweet! I can;t wait to see them
I have personally never seen a highly modded Supra run at the track, but from what I understand they are known as dyno queens.
Bets on me beating Rob's 12.5 tonight??
Odds are this is only my 3rd time ever at the track, I have less torque (5lbs.) I have wider DR's (285 vs. 275) and its hella hotter outside (I think he ran in early to mid Spring to get that time)

They're staying at the Venetian. They've got 2 floors of the parking garage reserved. Supposed to be aruond 700 in town.
I'll be out there, but not in my car. I'm riding with my roommate in his 700HP Camaro. I spent the day getting the car ready (new fuel hoses in the tank, new plugs, MT tires mounted).
If you were wondering why I dipped out early, the guys that put on my DR's did not put enough bead sealer on and I broke a bead on my passenger side tire. I went there at 8:30 this morning and got it fixed. THe best time I got last night was a 12.737 with a 2.1 60' at 111mph.
Next time !
And I must give props to that blue Supra, that was just sick fast! It was kind of strange though because it did not sound like he changed gears at all.

In case anyone was wondering the conditions for last night at 9:00p were:
91.9 degrees
24.1 dew point
30.01 in/Hg pressure
Which translates into a NHRA correction factor of .9419 for E.T. and 1.0619 for trap speed.
I ran a 13.467 @ 104.71
which is a corrected 12.684 @ 111.19.
Which is still way slower than I think I should be running.

I did 2 runs, both were about 14.7 @ 97 mph. Which is corrected for 13.8 @ 103 mph. My car is so much easier to drive now, once it's launched just keep it punched.
Apparently a 800hp Supra hit the wall after we left, see the link....
