Anybody got their stock radio brackets laying around. I need them to finish up the install on my new W200. I guess if you insall a single-din HU you dont need them but when you go double din you gotta have em again. Had to call every audio shop in town to find the metra kit for this unit, then get it back and doesnt look right because I dont have stock radio brackets

I used mine for my double din nav unit.

Yea my friend was helpin me install my w200 and he was like uhhhh, problem. There arent any stock brackets in there. I was so freakin pissed loL. The unit is in the car and working, just the trim doesnt sit flush. I dont want to go to nissan and get raped for only 2 brackets.

Maybe post a thread in the WANTED section of my350, Im sure someone would have some they could sell you for $5-10

If you're willing to wait a bit, I'll give you mine. I'm installing a single DIN unit in my Z. Just waiting for my install kit to get here. I had to order my kit since the '06+ is different. Brackets should be the same though.

Bad news... looks like the '06 Metra kit requires re-using the stock brackets even for a single DIN. Sorry.
