SmittyZ33, question about your speaker box
 

I bought one of eBay almost 6 months back and I still haven't had time to install everything. Anyway, how did you do it? Who did you do it through? Do you have a stock deck or something else? Did you have to shave the speaker enclosure to fit the speaker? Questions, questions, questions!

I bought my Fosgate amp and sub from Audio Express and had them do the install. They fabricated a bracket and custom mounted my amp in the stock sub enclosure space. The 10" fit right in (so to speak). I did, however, have to port out the small hole on the side because I wanted to put an aftermarket bridge in there to fill the hole (for the wires). As advertised, $1 install and they did a fantastic job! I left my stock deck in there so as to give the appearance that my entire setup was stock. There was some sort of RCA adapter that I had to buy to do that but it was only like $25. I also bought Infinity components and they drilled holes above the rear speakers for those--great placement--the highs are right in my ear!

P.S. I have an Audiobahn 10 I'll sell ya! :)

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a nice setup you got there. I got the box cuz I wanted to be just like you! You're my hero.

Anyway, I have a 10" Predator sitting at home and it wouldn't fit into the enclosure. Grrr. I'll set up the box later, but for now I just wanted some info, seeing that you've got the same box I have. Btw, how does your setup sound?
