Next Saturday (14th) I'm planning on driving to LA for the day to get a test drive of the newly installed APS single turbo on a Z roadster. The place is called Brainstorm Performance. They will also have a twin turbo G35 around to test drive as well. I spoke to them on the phone yesterday, and he said to check back next week to be sure. Meanwhile, I thought some of you might want to go as well. Apparently, the single turbo on 91 octane is putting down about 390whp with the APS exhaust.

Interesting...I will have to check my calender. When I drove Rich's Procharged Z with 365whp, it didn't feel that different until the top end.

Yeah - that's the thing with superchargers, but turbos give more of a response across the entire RPM range (after lag, that is).

I'm driving down early Friday morning to get my reflash and final drive done. Saturday night a girl that I know is having a b-day party out there so I'll be in the neighborhood.

Damn, just realized that's Friday the 13th. Maybe it's not a good day for a road trip.

I'm testing for staff on the 19th, so I've to study.

I'll probably head out Saturday morning, check it out, find out all the costs involved, then back to Vegas that afternoon.

I'm going to get my car done Friday and stay the night in LA. Then drive down to Long Beach and party with Malida and her friends anyone else wanna go? Definitely going to stay the night Saturday and drive back Sunday morning.
