Those are insane! But I could see brake dust making those things hazy and not so nice looking.

 

a diff copany came out with those.. the material they are made out of actually is repellent to brake dust so just a quick hose down cleans them. and they dont get dirty very fast at all. there is an interview about them on videos.streetfire.net just type in clear wheel as a search

 

They design them for add more heat in to the breaks.
