I ran at MM lastnight with 2006 350Z 6sp 100% stock. Over 1/2 tank of fuel and it has 1,450 miles only. I ran 3 pass.

1st ran 15.92sec @ 95.89mph.

2nd ran 14.81sec @ 97.40mph.

3rd ran 14.77sec @ 96.04mph.

Dose anyone at the track last night?

 

I should've gone. The temps last night were perfect. I think I coulda pulled out a low 14. I'm hoping that with the addition of a UTEC and a clutch/flywheel, along with some DR's, I might be able to break into the 13's this winter. I noticed last night that my car's making at least 10-20HP more than it was when it was 110 out. I can't keep the car hooked up in second. Anytime I get on it, the back end starts swingin' back and forth.

It's nice to have a car that handles, but I'm used to being much quicker in a straight line. My best so far is a 14.6. My '97 T/A was a whole second quicker and it had stock heads and cam, stock intake and stock manifolds.

 

What was your best pass last night?

 

BTW did you see me last night with a 06 white 350Z no plate?

 

I was going to go out but then I decided to be a rambunctious teenager and get drunk while smoking some hookah . I did however destroy some kid in an STi tonight from a roll. He looked pissed and his passenger flipped me the bird as they drove by. Oh well it was fun

I don't follow the 350zs much, but, aren't they suppose to be high 13s, low low 14s cars? I know it's new to you, but the traps should be in the 99-100 mph range?

this looks grim for my G.

 

you're not going to get those times at this altitude and temp - traps are more like 96-98 mph if NA. times are going to be in the mid 14's at best.

 

At sea level, they are.

Next time i will put MT ET Streets from my mustang to 350Z. I hope, it should run in low 14s or hi 13s Just for all stock except the tires.
