Midnight Cruise & Photos
 

I think it could be a cool idea to do a late night cruise, what do you guys think? Where would we go? What time would it start? Who would we invite? When would we do it?

I think it would be cool to go to the UNLV parking garage or a hotel parking garage for pictures after the cruise. Anybody know of a place that we could park for a bit and shoot some pictures with the strip in the background, or a good city lights view?

Lets get some ideas going and plan this thing.

Sounds like fun. Valley of Fire on a night with a full moon maybe? I don't think that you can get into the Redrock loop after Sunset.

The top of Redrock casino is a nice pic spot. Please let me know when you plan on the cruise sound like fun..........

A Thursday or Friday night are the only ones that will work for me.

I cant do it until after SEMA. Besides, I wan't to give people a little while to plan for it.

Go up to Moapa... buy some fireworks, set them off and take some pics with the fireworks behind the cars :)

how aobut this.... Park cars on top of Flamingo parking lot adn take the pictures from the Mirage...not form vegas but i was there last weekend and from the top you could see the Top of the flamingo parking lot pretty nicely(i am pretty sure it was the flamingo, but i coudl be wrong)

and if it coudl be past this weekend ill make it too :)

Something else that may be a good idea, is the 98.5 KLUC Xmas toy drive when that kicks off. Everyone meets up somewhere, then we drive down to where they are having the toy drive. Drop off the toys, maybe get to give some shout outs to the local ladies on the radio :unibrow:, then go hit Buffalo Wild Wings or a pizza joint. Would be good for the community, and good because everyone can get to know some of the newer people. I know that i have only met like 10% of the people on this board. Maybe around 5 or 6 on a saturday evening.

+1 I can bring in a box to my office to collect toys and then I will fill the Z to the brim. One of the most rewarding XMAS experiences I have ever had was last year when I delivered a truck load of presents to a single dad who could not afford anything for his kids. When I showed up annonymously and told him I was Santa, he dropped right there and started balling....... good times.

the 98.5 Toy Drive starts on the 1st and ends on either the 12th or 13th. So since mostly everybody works on the weekdays i presume it would be best to do it on either the 2nd, 3rd, 9th or the 10th. How many people are interested in actually having a get together, gettin some chow, and helping out the community. This would probably be best to meet after 5PM so that many more can attend. I for one started working 9-5 on the weekends, but I know that before that I was mostly hungover on saturdays and sundays so I liked to sleep in til noon. That also gives time for QuickSilver to drive from Bullhead without speeding if he wants to attend :) Post up if ou are interested so we can get a spot to meet at planned :111: :111:

I just sent an email to one of the guys on the 98.5 morning zoo asking where it going to be at exactly and how long they are going to be out each day. That way we can plan something out accordingly :111: I have heard that it is going to be at the office max on sashara n valley view, but I just wanna be sure.
