I kind of messed my car up this morning. I was going to work this morning and while driving down volunteer I pulled up behind 2 cars doing 30mph; well that road is about 5 miles long so I pulled out nailed it and when I shifted gears the rear end started to come around. I almost slid into the truck that I was passing so I had to countersteer the other way and then slid car through the desert.
So far I have two bent wheels, two flat tires, the rear valance is hanging and the undercarriage is full of rocks. Nice. I'll know more when I can see it in the daylight.

The wheels look pretty chewed up The rear bumper cover is also torn up a bit. The good news is that my new front bumper should be here in a couple of weeks

That Sucks, Sam. I'm glad you are OK.
The damage sounds like an easy fix.
You (and everybody else here) really ought to come out to one of the High Preformance Drivers Education Weekends. It will teach you how to have more fun and how to be safer in a powerful car.
The next PCA/SCCA HPDE is May 19 - 20 in Pahrump.

Well my car goes into the shop on Monday. I debated on doing it myself and not calling the insurance company but I decided that I didnt really have the time and why should I let my insurance company off the hook? This what I pay them for in the first place; why should I continue to pay them fix nothing incase my rates go up. F-that! Anyway Image Makers is doing the work, I'll let you know how it comes out.

The estimate was way too low, that's one reason that I'm letting the shop do it. I walked the shop with the owner and met a rep from his paint suppiler, he says that the ppw is an easy color for him to match. The above pic is pre-4wheeling lol
