Koyo radiators

Anyone have any experience with them? Do you think I should go with a 36mm or 54mm unit?

The bigger the better, but also the more pain in the ass to install :). If you aren't planning on tracking the car, I think you can get away with the stocker, but if you must get a radiator you should be fine with the smaller of the two. Any track time though and I would go for the bigger one.

One more thing if you have alot of hp over stock, it a must to have a bigger radiator to drive on the street.............especially in las vegas. :004:

X1000, last summer I was very close to overheating several times just playing around.

Well turbos generate a lot more heat than superchargers do as well.

Actually I've found that the vented hood helps out alot. I get on it pretty good around town and don't really have any problems.

I'd go with the 54mm unit, but I'm trying to find out if the stock fans will still fit. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a bigger radiator, I just don't know how hard it is to make the 54mm unit work, or should I just go with the 36mm unit?

What are you running Mike?

SinCity350Z 01-25-2007 09:36 AM

I am pretty sure I am running the 56mm with stock fans. It was seriously the biggest PITA to install because of the tight fitment, but it does work. :)
