Installed HID on one side

Finally! With the help of my girl's dad, we had this retrofit completed. It was a bigger challenge than I thought it was, but at the end, it was totally worth it. I had to use Boogiemyke's (from 350zmotoring/350z-tech/etc.) instructions on how to seperate the housing: fourth post from bottom

At the end, it came out looking good, got some future-father-in-law bonding, and learned that working on cars when you had a few drinks is more fun.

Yeap! I thought to myself: this has to be the most ridiculous thing I've done so far.

I finally have the other side! Whew, what a wait it was.

Also, I purchased a custom box that fits underneath the rear pillar and that should be coming soon. Any suggestions for an amp? I've a 10" 400W sub. I was thinking of some place like Vegas Auto Sound or Audio Express where installation is free or $1.00, respectively, if I buy an amp from them.

The one dollar installation is just labor. You still have to pay for the wiring and all of that stuff. If you want a good quality job done and really good advice go to Cory at Ultimate Electronics on Buffalo and Alta. I know that its far, but it is worth it. Cory is the only person I will let near my cars when it comes to stereo stuff.

Oh yeah, the one on Rainbow and Alta. There's a Radio Shack and a Hawaiian place a few doors down. Cool, thanks! I'm looking at an Alpine amp, 700W for $199.95. How much do they charge for install (labor, wires, etc.)? Thanks Mike!

Yeah Rainbow & Alta sorry. I don't know about installation. Cory did my fiberglass boxes, DVD player, etc. as well as my girlfrinend's IS300 so tell him I sent you and see if he hooks you up. I don't know if he will or not though. If you are anything like me though you don't mind spending the extra $$$ to have it done right the first time. I have plenty of horror stories from other installers where I have to have it re-done twice.

Talk to Cory for installation and advice on what to get and talk to Cliff or Steve for Sales.
