I was just thinking about different types of events and I came up with this. A NV350Z/LVG35C paint day. If you have any small parts (engine/battery/brake fluid covers, etc...) that you want to be painted we can all meet up and do it together. I have a really good write up on how to paint you own stuff that I found on My350Z.com. Just bring your materials and we can make a day or two out of it. And in between coats/sanding we can just hang out and play poker or do something. I know its a far fetched idea, but everything is more fun with a group. Maybe we could have someone who really knows how to paint come and give us pointers. What do you guys think?

 

Yeah, that could be fun! It just sucks that some (if not all) of you can't come on base. I can't sponsor this many people, because if I can, we can hang out at the auto shop on base. Four bucks an hour for use of hydraulic lifts and other equipments. If there are members with current active, reserve, guard, retired, or DoD civilian (18+), then maybe we can pair up and check this place out.

 

I know a guy, but he is in Iraq right now, so I don't think that will work. He is a Marine anyway so I don't know if he has the same privelages as the Air Force guys at Nellis.

 

Oh yeah, I know who you're talking about. Any DoD branch (USMC, USA, USN, USCG, USAF) can access any DoD bases as long as the member's have current ID & base vehicle pass (or temporary pass).
