I just called LVMS and they told me that the track will be treated with VHT tonight, which means good traction. Robert (love2ridepow) and I are going, anyone else interested? It's only $10. I'm sure it will be crowded as hell, but I need a fix. It starts at 7pm.I'd like to see VegasEdge bring that Stillen beast out... as it is, there will be an APS twin turbo and my APS single turbo going at it.

I will be there as well to see how my little blown 4-banger will do. I'm running some old RA-1s on the rears that were on a set of used wheels I bought. I'm still spinning through first and part of second, but it's much better than before. I'm meeting some other peeps at Poppas at 5:30 for dinner before Mayhem if anyone else wants to show up.

We only did 3 runs in about 2.5 hours. This was the last one. My reaction time was .387, 60' was 2.403 (terrible), 1/4 was 13.359 at 111.34. We were pretty much an even match out there.

 

I have video of that run too, but I am going to fill up the rest of the disc with my car before I finalize it.

I could not get a good launch. And with 4 runs over 4 hours, I could never get any rhythm going. Example...I ran a 14.8...with a trap of 99.89. That's just stupid. My best ET was on my best launch....14.61 at 97.somthing with a 2.254 60'...and that was with a mis shift fron 2nd to 5th in the middle of the run. I know with a good launch I could be running 14.1-14.2 with a trap of 102-103.

Remember, a '99 stock Miata runs 16.5 @ 85MPH.

 

Yeah I watched that race....Rob looked like he had a 13.23 and Robert pulled a 13.35....or something like that. I was standing out back inspecting vehicles when they were by the waterbox. What took you guys so long to start?
