Ok, the website is pretty much done with the exception of all of the member pages so lets get the info and pics in ASAP so we can get the site up and running.

 

UPDATE: I found some pictures of vegas_speedster's car as well as Nfore1's car so they both have pages now, but some of the info is probably wrong and I don't know Sam's last name. Also, Aarif's pictures are with his old wheels on it and I know he will want that changed.

 

I'm getting my tires installed today, so hopefully I can get some pics up by tonite (if I ever find my memory card).

 

Make sure the tire shop is careful - those air guns can scratch up nice wheels real quick. Wrap your wheel keys in electric tape. Most people don't think about this until it's too late.

 

The tech at Sam's Club did the job very carefully, probably because I was watching. He took his time and did some great work. He hand threaded the lugs in before using the air gun, and when he did, he didn't gunned it all the way. I requested 93 lb-ft, so he torqued it and had a senior tech verify. They have a 59 minutes or less guarantee, but the he took and hour and twenty minutes, so I got my installation fee refunded.

 

Hahaha, nice.

BTW, 85 ft.lbs. is what is recomended for the Z.

I was reading the Z manual as well as the tire/wheel guide on 350ZMotoring. The average torque number is 83 lb-ft (between 73-93). I wasn't sure cuz I didn't want it to fall off while I'm driving!

 

Well, I leave to work in the dark and usually come home in the dark.
So I guess I'll try to get some pics this weekend in the sunlight.
