Hey Mike - the PCA is having another Instructor Certification class on Friday May 18th. The guys you need to talk to if you want to try to get an invitation to attend are Bob Mohan or Scott Mann. Give me a call if you are serious about it. Ill see if I can hook you up.

Bring which ever car you are more comfortable having someone else drive.
You will spend most of the on track time in the right seat. There is a lot of role-playing where the instructor is the driver and you need to tell them what they are doing wrong (on purpose). There is also a fair amount of class room stuff.
To be accepted to the class they assume you already know how to get around the track and are proficient at hitting apexes, throttle steering, trail braking, heal / toe, track etiquite, and all the other fun stuff. This class does not teach you how to drive. You need to already know that. This class teaches you how to evaluate the students true abilities (and weaknesses) and how to present the pertinatnt information to bring them up to the next level.
