Hello everybody,

Sorry for the belatedness, but for all of you that live in the Chicagoland area, there is a Z meet today down by Orland Park at around 3:00, at the south parking lot of the Moraine Valley Community College. If you're interested, "meet" us up there with your Z, or whatever car you're driving. We'd love to see you there!

I would've posted earlier, but many of us thought it was gonna rain today. Since it does NOT look like it's gonna rain (no thanks to the weatherman), looks like it's still taking place. Z ya all there, and you too Riz??

I was even telling my buddy Griff,"This totally looks just like Copper's Z! It's black and has the JDM Fascia and everything."
The only one with the JDM fascia BTW. Looked tight and super clean BTW.
AAARRRRRGGGGG!!!!! I bet I stood right in front of you at one point and didn't even know it!! LOL Oh well, watcha gonna do???

You were there Rizz??! Did you drive up to Montrose Beach with us too?? Hey, I think I remember you said your Z was red. Is it the one on the left in this first picture?

yep, that's my Z. The one parked next to the orange one and the green one. The green one is Griff's.

In your other pic, I'm standing right in front of my car talking to Randy, Phil, Griff, and I think that's Howard.

No, Griff and I didn't go down to the beach with everyone. We had already traveled over an hour to get there. We didn't feel it was worth it to travel another hour to get to a beach then travel another hour to get home later. We didn't know that we would be traveling elsewhere after the initial arrival. If that was the case why didn't we just meet at the beach itself, that woulda saved us some time, money, and most importantly gas. I already had to dip into my piggy bank to get gas money to go down there. LOL I'm sooo broke! LOL

I totally agree! I really don't understand why they didn't just meet up at the beach, especially when Randy from Ultimate Z knew that there were Z owners who were coming down from the northside and downtown area!! It definitely would've been a much shorter travel for me and my buddy as well. That travel up to the beach from Orland Park lost a lot of Z's from the group, and made it much less meaningful than it could've been. To be quite honest, my friend and I got pretty bored...

Wish I coulda come Riz, but its a little bit more a ride than an hour for me... How far away is Chicago to East Coast NC?

It wasn't that nice up close Nismo. You didn't miss anything with that Z. Others though woulda been worth the trip. The orange Z's paint job wasn't all that great, plus the guy had a steel hood! Man, that thing weighed a ton!!

The next meet should be better though. There's gonna be food and beverages to tide ppl over. There's also gonna be some dyno-pulling if anyone's interested. So naturally I'm assuming the meet's at a shop. I'll be up to going as long as it doesn't turn into a "let's meet here, then go ride far away" thing like last time.
