Um...TB's.... not hip to THAT lingo..... There are plenty of places to get parts/mods. Look around. This site alone is a super-plethora of good info. Most of the people are cool enough to tell you how to mod and help you with problems you may be having. Feel free to e-mail me or send me a message on this site if you think I can help.
Meanwhile, check out strictlyz.com & stillen.com. There are many others, but those come to mind now----also look on e-bay. You NEVER know what you can find on there... but be careful, you have to know what you're looking for and what is costs.
Peace out----and have fun with your "new" Z. (also --- get ready for "hood back")

For a bigger TB, most people have been upgrading to a 240SX TB since they're easy to find in a salvage yard and all you need to fit it is a 1" spacer and change the wiring on the TPS which is only 3 wires. If you've got the cash, Motorsport Auto sells a ready to bolt on Weber TB, (www.zcarparts.com). Oh and welcome to board!

I got the bolt-on Motorsport throttle. I do not recomend it. The throttle action is sticky and doesnt come closed clean. It soemtimes closes further and sticks teh next time you start to press on the gas... then suddenly releases. Even after a couple years and 25000 miles it still the same. Tried all kinds of stuff on it and nothing works. I hear the 240SX throttle is nice and nobody has reported this problem. The 240SX single overhead cam engine throttle is what you want. '89-90 only.
Don't forget to bore out the intake manifold a bit to match the larger throttle.
