hello everyone, as alot of you i suspect you were fascinated by the style and shape of a z...well i mainly liked them because it was just numbers and the letter z.
i like to buy and sell cars and well im 19 and just picked up an 84 300zx turbo, all factory besides catback and fart can, the cat had been hollowed out but i fabricated and 2-1/2 straightpipe for it. other than that it is stock with 119k miles...

i also had a few questions although i will be searching and reading this site probably for hours on end if you have any information or know of a previous thread that might help i need a little help with a couple things.

one issue im having is a clunking when i accelerate. like there is play in the rear suspension somewhere, i dont have a lift so i had les schwab take a look and they said it was some sort of body mount of diff mount causing a problem but i looked at it on a lift a shop let me use i couldnt find what they were talking about, sooo im stumped until i can get more time to tear it apart

only other thing is in the morning it runs like crappppp, anytime it sits long enough to cool off completely it will barely idle. but when its at operating temp it runs like a champ. i bought a themostat sendor/sensor but i have no clue where it goes. ive looked around on the block and havent found it. so if someone could give me some quick insight i can get one thing out of the way... thank you for reading my thread
