Ok, I'm kinda new here, just got my z a few days ago. It's an 85 z non turbo with a manual transmission.

Well I'm having problems, hopefully someone can help, first of all, it's obvious that the car is misfiring, just by driving it, very unpredictable range of power. But it's been driveable, well anyway, I degreased the engine, hosed a few things down and wa la, took it for a drive about a few hours later when it was dry, and drove fine for about 2 or 3 min, then I got down on it, and at like 4 grand in first gear, is started BUCKING like crazy, I looked at the TACH and it was dropping all the way down to like 1000 rpms, sometimes a little lower, I almost got sea sick it was bucking so bad, well anyway, that's only when I really get down on it. I also replaced the distributor cap and rotor, but everything went ok there, well anyway, any suggestions as to what this could be? It's almost as if the fuel is just cutting off I guess....

Any help would be appreciated.
