Hey guys. I am sure you guys mostly have and prefered 5 spd. I also want to have 5 spd but my finance can't handle it and I don't want to teach it to her!

Can you tell me your auto expreince? Is it that bad over 5 spd? Is Auto more harder to modify than 5 spd, especially 2+2 model?

well to start off its not as bad as it seems the only thing about 5spd and auto is that you get to down [censored] with the 5spd, but to tell you the truth from what i have noticed the autos that i have driven in and ran against have a better lowend then the 5spd they get that jump quicker that mine now you also have to remember that its a cable clutch not a hydrolic(sp) clutch so of corse its going to be different plus when you get into heavy traffic it isnt that fun. Now my wife is having trouble getting the slow take off from a stop but she can shift when it is motion the only thing is that it has to much power for her and she trys to power shift with out realizing it. my advice to you is teach your fiance on a slower standard then teach her in yours. I know this information is the greates and probably not the most acurate but i hoped it help.

ive got an auto, and yeah I cant down shift, but i dont have a second car to drive in traffic, so its a trade off. You have to remember that even with an auto the Z is a bad *** car. The only car on the street that got the jump on me was a turbo porsche. Im glad i got the auto.
