I have a tranny from an 81zx 2+2,, the car has 160 thousand miles on it, but it shifted great and no noise when I pulled the engine. I live in Texas, about 100 miles from Dallas.

will the 5 speed tranny your selling fit in a 240Z????

 

its a 5speed in a 72 240 and seems to shift smooth and fine:-)you i guess need bell housing 2?Mark

 

The tranny will fit from 70 -83 without any mods needed. I have used trans out of Z,s of all these years without fault. Hell I even get a gearbox out of a 77 datsun pichup to fit my 70Z.
