OK, I have a 1985 300ZX Turbo, and i'm lost. I got a cheap little cd player and the plastic install kit; pulled out the factory tape player/radio, and felt more stupid... I'm normally pretty bad when it comes to wiring, but i've always been able to manage to install cd players in all my other vehicles, but not without a little help this time. First, Nissan, in all their wisdom, decided not to lable any wire of any kind in their best vehicle for that era, but they labled the wires in the 1986 hardbody? To top it off (this might make me sound more clueless), the 2 wires 'bout the size of a cd changer wire, etc.; on the bottom side of the tape deck; 1 grey, 1 black, that from the outside with a quik glance, you might think they were amp wires, until you unplug them an see 2 plugs that look like they should be on a home pc set up completly threw me way off. I can imagine there is gonna be a few extra wires due to the factory radio controls on the steering wheel, but i'm so confused. If anyone on here has been through this situation allready, it would be fantastic if you could help and advise the ignorant.

Very easy to install...did realize the original wiring is crapy as years on use....best to replace all wires befor installing and tapping into the harnes is a cheaper way than buying a harness...
