Re: Accessing throttle chamber

just loosen the clamps and keep yanking. it gets hard and non-pliable after years of heat. try prying with a screwdriver against the tb. I had to cut one off and replaced it with a new one (brand vulco, i can find out diameter for you tomorrow or you can bring your old one to a parts place to get correct size)

just to be clear - i am referring to the black hose that connects intake pipe to throttle body.

the intake pipe is held on with 2 screws on non-turbo's, and held on with clamp at the turbo and a 10mm bolt to a bracket on turbo cars.

here's a pic of the location of hte things holding it on. it's usually REALLY hard to get off, but check the pic anyway to make sure you got the bolts that hold it off.
