is it true that if you add a K&N cone style air filter to a 300zx turbo that don't need to keep that casing around it? and all my friends are telling me to get the cold air intake kit that is like twice or three times as much as just getting the K&N air filter so is it worth getting the cone and making the mod or should i step up to the cold air intake? thanks

 

no, you don't need to buy their rip off intake kit.

all you really need is any size K&N cone filter with a 3" opening.
