it will give you a little more throttle with just installing it with out porting the intake snapier off the line ..but it would be better to port it now ...i just dont want to port this intake ..i want one from the older z's without the runners so my header would breath better and porting thoughts make alot more of a diff ..+ you lose all the egr stuff and they look alot cleaner ...i hope i fined one when i go to this junk yard ...i neeed to go there a look around again soon

it wont do anything if its not ported...i believe sombody did research and found out (maybe it was you Bleach, sombody told me anyways) that it was worse off then the stock if its not ported...

yup! It was WORSE without porting. The throttle will be more sensative, but you get more torque and horsepower with the stock throttle vs the 60mm and no porting. Especialy since you have no other work done and you're running a stock cam.

An 80mm would be a stretch anyways. I dont know that the stock manifold has enough meat on it to be ported big enough to accept the 80mm. The 60mm is pushing it as far as grinding right through the metal goes.

yeah if you want a complete port on a 60mm it comes close to going trough...80 would fit over top of that manifold like a collar!! hehe

That intake it self was 80mm and the throttle body to the auction was for the intake and trotttle body ..**** i dont think that you could even get it to port that much on the the stock one .....

A lil off topic, but about the T/B, and no need for a new thread, so, What's the year range for the T/B from the 240SX to fit on a 280ZX N/A?
