Question The carpet pockets on door panels

Hey guys, I have a little dilemna. I have currently some beautiful black door panels with silver carpeted pockets. I want to make them like my original panels. The silver with blue pockets. Anyway I was wondering is there any way I can change the color of the pockets to blue? Like is there any place I can get a specific paint or dye. Otherwise I will try to switch the pockets, and paint the black silver. Is that possible to switch out the pockets? I don't really know how they are inserted on the panels themselves. Any information would be appreciated and thanks!

This might sound crazy, but my cousin did it in his chevelle. It's cheap and easy, and since you want to go over a light color, it should work alright! Go to your local hair care store and find a hair die called Manic Panic, it comes in a jar about 2 in. tall. they have a few diff. shades of blue, so you do got some chioces. believe me it does work, but it does slowly fade, probably every 6 monthes you should redo it, My cuz left the die on twice as long as it said and it turned out nice, surprisingly nice! He's got $42,000 into that Chevelle and he aproves it.
