do you need a certain amount of post before you can create your own thread?

I posted 2 thread in 280z forum, but then was told my post needed to me moderated. WTH...that was yesterday, and its still not up.

The first 10 posts of new members are moderated. Any html, bb code, or certain key words in a post will need to be moderated (approved) before it will show. This is for spam prevention.
