Starting SBC swap!

whats up? I just bought a '78 chevy 305 and turbo 350 tranny to drop in my '82 ZX. So that means that tomarrow I'ma start gutting the car. and everything that comes stock under the hood that somehow pertains to the normal functioning of the L28 is up for grabs. I can't let it sit here for long. I'll prolly have to haul it all off before long, so I'll sell it all dirt cheap. all I need to keep is the radiator.

the engine and tranny are coming out. The computer and wiring harness.all those little vacuum pots and sensors along the passenger side. all of it.The only wiring i'm going to need is for the alternator, coil and starter. And I'm going to do all that from scratch and make it all nice and neat. I have two transmissions for this car one is an '83 ZXT 5 speed and the other is a '76 4 speed. The engine is a rebuilt L28 that was always very mechanically sound. I have three ECU's. two are for a N/A ZX and the other is for a turboZ.

I'm sayin. If you want options on your next project... I'll prolly let it all go for $350.

I would use a larger radiator if you are going to put any performance mods on that sbc. V8's need more coolant capacity.

Yeah you will need another radiator.

your 280zx radator will do just fine and it will actuly run cooler with the 280zx radiator. i would know for i do convertions like this all the time.just make sure you uses dual elctric fans to keep it cool one will need to push and one will need to pull.put one on the far left and one on thefar right
