With the strengthened timing belt, will it last longer in say a stage IV TT?

Yeah, it will, but it's one of those things where you don't know how long it will last. IMO, not worth the $. Drop $35 on the OEM belt and do the service once every 4 years/60k; whichever comes 1st. That way you can change the cam seals and everything else. Save your extra $125.

2nd on that... you guys said timing for N/A is 10 degrees...manual says it's 15+or-2 on both... fill me in on this

follow the manual then. the tech said it was 10 deg.

Yea, what's the worst that could happen?

I'm kidding on the that. the worst that could happen is very expensive. We ALL knowthat RIZZ knows the answer to this. I know he's around here somewhere. Check on the underside of your hood. It should say on a sticker. Mine is on the underside of the hood, by the battery.

So then, why are you concerned about the timing now since the car's in the shop? I guess you could sit in your living room and pretend to adjust the timing.
