FS: Megasquirt standalone engine management

If you’re even looking at this, you probably already know what it is. But in case you don’t, Megasquirt is one of the most popular universal standalone engine management systems on the market. It can be programmed to control all aspects of your engine, from the fuel injectors and spark timing, to additional add-ons like water/NOS injection. This unit was professionally assembled by the folks at DIYAutoTune, arguably the most experienced MS seller out there. It is in perfect working condition, and is currently loaded with fuel-only settings for a 280ZX Turbo (obviously, you’ll need to retune it for your own car’s setup). All of the following is included:

* Megasquirt I V3.0 (the one with the most support)
* wiring harness
* 240SX TPS (required), modified to bolt right onto your L28 throttle body
* boost control solenoid (I never got around to installing that)
* DB9-to-USB connector, for interfacing with your PC/laptop

$400 shipped. All sales are final.

The harness is right there in the picture. Yes, it was on an S130 turbo. I went with a different tuning route.

Maybe you need a different one. Or, you can try a different computer; some work with it better than others for some reason.

i was reading some people had to change a setting in dynotune. but do you put the connector on the ms unit or can you do a serial cable all the way to a usb converter then connect to computer? sorry to jack your thread. but this is a steal for anyone who wants a independent fuel management system

you can do coil packs on ms. its short but im assuming it was all ran directly instead of using a relay board. im curious about your boost control solenoid because i was and still thinking about it. are you using megatune?

i know you can, its just more work than SDS since SDS is stock setup with the coil packs, i tried to research the MS coil setup using a ford EDIS6 system. didnt really get many answers

...Getting back on track...the harness is short because I utilized the existing 280ZX wiring harness for many of the wires, and I had plenty of spare wire around to run anything else. So I didn't bother to pay for a longer harness (which does indeed cost more).
