I purchased the car in April 2014 from Japanese classics, here is the link to the car's ad on their web site.

It has been in the country since April 2014, registered an insured in NY since then.
This is one of the few legally imported and registered under the 25 year old exception.

Still has the stock RB20det and it runs great.

If you want a Japanese import, like RBs but don't want the same r32 that everyone else has this is for you.
Not a car you run into at all, definitely rare to find in the US and as such so are parts for it.
This is a warning, A31 specific parts (body parts mostly) for it are out there but you have to be willing to pay and wait for those parts, for example the front windshield was cracked and replaced with a new one but that took 5 months between ordering the windshield, waiting for it to arrive stateside, going to pick it up in VA and then installing it back in NY.

Engine and suspension parts are not hard to come by at all.
Rb20s have been imported into the US for years and they share many of its components with rb25s and even 26s so its easy to find online within US.

Most of the suspension is exactly the same as s13/14 some components are exactly the same as z32, all which we have in the US and can literally walk into a parts store and buy.

When I bought the car it had 148,059 KM/ 92,025 Miles
I don't drive it much as it's simply easier using the subway to get to work every day without having to worry about parking.

Besides the few modifications that came with car at time of purchase, everything on the description below was changed, installed within the last year and a half.

I have described every detail possible about the car below, anyone with REAL interest and REAL money will be showed the car but only those that show up with cash in hand will get a test drive.

My trust in the car is so much that I don't mind delivering the car somewhat far away myself, to an extent of course. If you are farther than just 5-6 hours away I'd probably ask you to meet closer.

Please make your best offers but please don't be stupid just like I'm not stupid enough to expect all the money I put into it to come back at time of sale, from the list below you will understand that i have put a good amount of money and time into it.

To lower the price, I'm willing to take some stuff off the car and replace with stock but there isn't much as I'm not really sure what my next project will be or if there will be one any time soon.

Will sell without SSRs if you bring your own wheels.

Over all, if I wasn't selling it the next thing on the list would be body work/repair fiberglass and paint.

- There is body filler on rear quarter panel
- Some chips and normal wear and tear, again it was resprayed in Japan at some point in its life I'm guessing very long ago, years before it was imported
- There is a rust starting to bubble up the under the paint right under pass side mirror
- Broken e-brake button, does not affect its use, if anything its very convenient, will be showed to buyer.
- Driver side door hangs down a bit like any old Nissan
- ECU is giving code for cam angle sensor, I'm already looking for one

Text/email/PM, serious buyers only please.
(718) 450-1157

- will consider cars that my wife can use as a daily (awd/4wd a plus)
she currently drives an 08 is250, so something similar newer or better.

- as for "project cars" will also consider the following
* Nothing obd2
* I'm specifically interested in z31, r31, s30, s13
* No 4 doors
