280ZX, 260Z parts. Triple Weber Carb setup
Complete 1981ZXT minus engine and engine harness/ECM for sale.
Auto trans, newwer torque converter, pretty complete interior (Blue and Silver) seats in decent condition, A/C componants (worked when removed), Cruise control parts (worked when removed), Wiper motor Evap Canister, nipple to distributor vacuum broke off All gauges, main cluster, and clock/lap, boost, all work great. Chassis wiring harness, body and dash. Power Steering pump, worked great when in car Starter New Catalytic converter Just about everything else you can think of. I would like to keep the car body and chassis complete enough that it will roll onto a trailer easy. From my 260Z- L26 engine with 56k hard miles on it with mild cam, Triple Weber setup that could use a rebuild and filters, 3-2-1 header in good condition Mallory Distributor, dual point Two Valve Covers. One painted plack, on original. Black on looks good. I can send pictures to e-mails from my phone. PM me with offers that are fair, including approximate shipping. I will be giving the car itself to my roommate. He is going to build a Z. I have inspred him. He's my best friend, and that would be bad ass. So, I am keeping the body of the car whole. Sorry.

Sorry. Been away from the computer for a while.
$800 for the carb setup. Needs primary venturis, otherwise they are in great running condition, and were pulled off of my L26 which is stronger than the L28ET I just swapped in. I want to replace them before selling. Also going to clean them up. Make offers on everything else. I really don't feel like doing a ton of research for pricing, and coming up wit prices just so they can be argued. Make offers, I'll let you know. Just keep them pretty fair. I just want to pay for the engine swap, and some fuel management parts like a new regulator. |
did you weld in the bong for the O2 sensor on those headers?

Nope, was always like that. It's sealed right there. Just has the bung so you can knock a hole there and install a AFR Gauge, or for O2 for the FI engine.

Drivers side window, and t-top were broken due to vandalism. :s-chainsaw: So, car, rolling condition with A/T. Title ready L26 engine still for sale. Name price. Also cheap. Triple Weber Carbs for sale. PM me with offers. You guys know what the setup is worth. But, I just want to see them getting used. They are clean, but collecting dust on my TV cabinet. |

he did, re-read the post, 280zx, 260z parts. nothing about the 260z's body being for sale is mentioned unlike the 280zx body which is specifically mentioned as being for sale.

Damn.... Hoov's underlings didn't tell him. Yeah, I now own a 260ZT. It's been running for a while now. Not selling my VIN#84 260Z. The 280ZX rolling is free to anyone that wants to come and get it in two days. Otherwise it's off to the salvage yard where it will hopefully keep other Z's alive.

The only fan I have that's not being used got trashed. It was a grenade waiting to happen. The blades were cracked and flopping around and hitting the radiator.
Update. Headers were sold. Still have the Triple Webers. Just bought a T3/T4 50 trim for $100 new... Can't get much better than that. Thanks to a friend. Now I need fundage for a wastegate and piping. Megasquirt wideband, injectors etc. |
Do you still have the 81zxt? If so...how much is left of it? Of course I would have to figure out. How I would get it here to East Mesa. lol

The 280ZXT is sitting at the Ecology Auto Salvage yard. Been there for a while. SOld it and the L26 engine for $100 to them. I felt dirty after.
