Well here goes my Baby...
1982 280ZX Turbo 101,800 mi. Asking 7000 obo. No Lowballers please but don't be afraid to make me an offer! I believe I bought her in 99 with 96000 so for owning her for 11 yrs and only putting on 5k or so miles tells you how much I've babied this car. When I got her she had a little rust and just needed some TLC. There's just way too much to say about her...She's far from perfect but I've put so much money into her I hope whoever gets her appreciates all the upgrades I've done and wants to pick up where I left off. She's definitely not in PERFECT condition but not too far off. Has a small nudge on the front right fender from when it was at a family friend's shop having the jim wolf package installed. He was gonna fix it for free but he's so far away that it's difficult for me to get back to him. I won't mind knocking off a little for the fix.
Here's a list of recent repairs/upgrades:
Fresh Paint Job a year and a half ago along with minor rust repairs
Welded in new steel to repair a small portion of the frame rail (8 yrs ago)
18" XXR Rims bought through motorsport auto
Yokohama S-Drive Tires with less than 1k miles on them
30th Anniversary MSA Air Dam + Style 2 Body Kit
Cat & Resonator removed and new custom 2.5" piping + performance exhaust added
ACT Performance Street Clutch with lightweight Fidanza Flywheel
Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave Cylinder
Beck/Arnely Calipers and Brakes
Urethane Tension Rod Bushing Kit installed
New Bushings installed at shock towers
Starter Replaced
Momo Steering Wheel and Shifter
Kenwood in dash speakers installed
Tokico Shocks and Springs installed which lower the car about 2"
Fog Lights installed
Jim Wolf Technology 500hp Control System Upgrade which includes: (This does not mean that the Car is 500hp it means that the new computer can handle a 500hp upgrade providing correct air/fuel ratios.)
New 1989 300zx Computer reprogrammed
Greddy Profec B Digital Boost Controller
420 CC Injectors
MSD 43 GPH Fuel Pump
Ford Mustang Cobra MAF
Nismo Adjustable Fuel Regulator
Aluminum Front Mount Intercooler (Not installed yet)
The car runs super strong, starts up right away with the first turn of the key no matter how long it sits. It's more reliable than my daily driver! I'm sure I've forgotten a few of the things I have to say about the car but it's already taken me too long to post this so please email me or call me at 630 330 7682 with any questions.
